Description/caption: Seconds is a series of photographs depicting scenes from my wanderings this year, of life during a pandemic in New York City. These photos capture the beauty and details of the natural environment that are often overlooked or under-appreciated. They are indicative of nature’s power to guide us in navigating through uncertainty and life challenges, as well as to aid us in the process of healing from trauma. 

Each photo represents a second- a seemingly insignificant fraction of time in a day, but together, they symbolize how individual moments can lead to significant change. At the same time, Seconds is a reminder to appreciate the small moments in our lives, to give our surroundings a second glance and to create new meaning out of the ordinary. There is much hope, joy and grace to be seen.
