Words from the Artist: “This self portrait was taken while I was walking on the streets of New York City and I came across with this graffiti ‘heal me’. I knew I had to become part of the image and express it out in the world openly, since being in a healing process is not always as visually acceptable even within this era where healing is more and more welcoming. I wanted to portrait a warm and respectful imagery towards my healing journey and to embrace the beauty of it with loving eyes.”
